Stony Creek Brewery Builds BrewPub Oasis At Foxwood Resort Casino

Stony Creek Brewery has announced plans to build a fully operational brew pub inside Foxwoods Resort Casino, the largest resort casino in North America. This will be the second brew in Connecticut, creating an opportunity to share its award-winning beer and aggressively laid-back lifestyle with visitors to top resort destinations in the Northeast.

Stony Creek is in a unique position to help grow the size of the pie in Connecticut, as the craft beer category is looking for new customers and new events.

"Kraft beer has the ability to cross every crack and bring people together as a community," said Ed Crowley Sr., founder of Stony Creek. "We see this every day at our brewery in Branford. People come from all over the Northeast for our beer and eventually stay for hours to enjoy the unique experience we have on offer. And with Foxwood, we can create a truly special place unique to craft beer, which can serve as a postcard to their time in Connecticut. This is an amazing opportunity to put Connecticut craft beer on the bigger map."

Brewery owner Andy Schwartz is excited to give his brewery team another place to play, experiment, and share beer. "Beer is the most important thing we do – we have a passion for this," Schwartz says. "So it's very important that this place be more than just another taproom to pour our beer. Customers at Foxwood will be surprised to find a truly fully operational brewery inside the casino. It's their chance to see where the beer is made. We will produce new, innovative beers in this small system, collaborate, and host exciting events. Our whole team is excited."

Located next to the Fox Theater, the 7,100-square-foot second-floor space will offer two unique experiences. The first floor will be Pure New England, complete with a clapboard wall, calming colors, a spacious beer garden, and communal areas for backyard gaming and socializing. The upstairs bar will offer another version of Stony Creek's nightlife.

"Upstairs, we wanted to combine the waterside atmosphere from the main brewery in Branford with some West Coast inspiration found in the beer," says Michael Kiser, creative director of Good Beer Hunting, who is leading the concept development and design of the space in collaboration with architect Joe Sepot. "It's all going to feel like a little bit of an outdoor oasis," said the creative director of Good Beer Hunting, who is leading the concept development and design of the space in collaboration with architect Joe Sepot. "It's going to have a cocktail lounge vibe, but with a beer focus, you'll find yourself in the casino's brewery on Saturday night and appeal to a wide audience who might be surprised to find themselves there. It's all going to feel like a little bit of an outdoor oasis."

For Foxwoods, attracting new customers and providing new experiences is paramount to the future of innovative businesses. 카지노사이트 순위

"We see craft beer as the primary attraction of food and beverage, as evidenced by the incredible success we've had with Stony Creek over the past year for our IPA home," said Jason Guyot, vice president of resort operations and development at Foxwoods Resort Casino. "It naturally leads to conversations about how we can bring a real local beer experience to our guests. We're excited to be a part of Connecticut's growth in craft beer."
