Class Changes: All 2nd semester class changes will be made before the Christmas break. Senior class changes will be November 27 - December 1, Sophomores/Junior changes are from December 4 - December 8. All class changes need to be made through the Google Class Change Form . Please email your counselor with any questions. There is a $10 fee for class changes.
Upcoming Events
November 29- School-wide well being lesson during 1st period. Topic will be addressing anxiety and depression, including coping skills. Information will be emailed to parents the Monday before and the lesson will be posted on our Counseling website.
November 27- December 1- Seniors can request class changes during this time for 2nd semester, through the online Class Change Form. It will open on 8:00 am November 27th. There will be no class changes when we return from Christmas Break.
December 4- December 8- Sophomores/Juniors can request a class change during this time for 2nd semester for a $10 class change fee. All class changes need to be made through the online Class Change Form. No emails please! There will be no class changes when we return from Christmas Break.
December 15- Deadline for BYU Application.
December 23-January 7- Christmas Break
January 19th- Priority Deadline for the Opportunity Scholarship.
January 22nd- Career Night at ALC- Mechatronics, AET, Business
January 30th- Utah Higher Ed Day for Juniors- College Representatives from Utah will be here Tuesday, January 30, for our Juniors. Colleges will provide information pertaining to their specific institution and will answer any questions students may have regarding their school. Junior students will gather in the auditorium at 8:00 am for a General Session, then have the opportunity to attend three Breakout Sessions of their choice to hear from different schools during A1 & A2. It will be an eventful morning full of knowledge from higher education schools to help our Juniors start thinking about life after High School.

November 30- National Honor Society Scholarship
December 1- University of Utah Explore More Scholarship- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on their most recent academic transcript and a strong background in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Participation in leadership and extracurricular activities is also a consideration.
December 1- NEW- University of Utah Point of the Mountain Scholarship. For seniors with 4.0 GPA. Awesome opportunity if you plan on attending the U of U.
December 31- Jumpstart Scholarship- For seniors and is designed to recognize students who can demonstrate a solid understanding of financial literacy concepts and are pursuing a post-secondary education either at a university, college, trade school or similar institution of higher learning.
Mental Health Resources
Maple Mountain provides groups throughout the year for our students including "Why Try" and self-regulation & skills management groups. If you are interested in learning more about these groups, contact your Counselor.
