Player to Buy after Week 8
#1 Buy: Zay Flowers
He didn’t have the worst performance this week being the 21st best WR this week, and getting 63 yards. But there is definitely an upside for these next few weeks because Zay had 100% snap percentage this week, and when Lamar plays Zay averages 3 more targets and 20 more yards, so Zay is definitely a candidate for your team if your struggling.
#1 Sell: Justin Fields
If you have him on your team you need to trade him right now. Yes he just had a great game, but that was against a horrible Bengals defense that allows the 4th most fantasy points to quarterbacks per game. One more bad game for Fields and he will get rebenched so trade him while you can.
#2 Buy: Dak Prescott
Dak Presscott has been a league leader all season and in fantasy he is the 8th highest scoring QB all year. He had his worst outing against the Broncos this week, but they are the defense tha5 allows the 3rd least QB points. Another reason Dak played bad was Ceedee Lamb only played 72% of snaps. This year when Ceedee plays over 90% of snaps he averages over 100+ receiving yards. Dak Presscott will be a top QB in fantasy once Ceedee is at full health.
#2 Sell: RJ Harvey
RJ Harvey is coming off his best game of the season but when you get deep into the stats this game was a fluke. He had only 27% snap percentage this week and he only had 44 rushing yards. All his points came from 2 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. Touchdowns aren’t really a stat you can rely on consistently and his receiving touchdown definitely won’t happen again. The Cowboys allow the 3rd most rushing yards to the RB1 this year and RJ Harvey still couldn't get going. This game was definitely a fluke and you should be trading him.
#3 Sell: Rico Dowdle
He had his first bust game of the year as he scored 5.8 points, after people were optimistic about him after a 206 yard game and a 183 yard game. When you get into the stats those two games were against the 4th worst and 5th worst rushing defense. You might be thinking that this game was probably against a tough defense but Buffalo allows the 2nd most yards per game in the NFL. You probably need to sell Dowdle before Hubbard returns to his normal self, and Dowdle starts going down.
#3 Buy: Jordan Mason
Jordan Mason is coming off one of his worst game scoring 1.6 points and now with Aaron Jones returning you have every reason to trade him away. Snap percentages show Aaron Jones played 20% more than Jordan Mason but if you really think about it’s not that much considering the Vikings ran it 9 times between the 2. What does that mean? That means the Vikings passed the ball way over the majority of the game and obviously Aaron Jones is the receiving back. I guess the stats don’t really show that Jordan Mason is great for the future, but he is so easy to trade for right now so why not.
