A Happily Ever Raptor Spirit Week
Students participate in spirit days to make their Homecoming Week a happily Ever Raptor!
By Kate Labra
With the fairytale hoco theme, students dress up for each spirit day to get excited for the annual dance at the end of the week! Students took “crazy hair day” to the literal sense with messy yet polished hair-dos, such as wigs, dyes, and unbrushed manes to celebrate the beginning of the week. The halls were filled with eye-catching headwear, which was abnormal too. In other news, Tuesday was pajama day, but was officially announced as athletic/comfy clothes, pajamas were at least what most raptors wore that day. Others additionally wore sportswear like jerseys and t-shirts publicizing certain sports teams, while everybody else styled active sets that were only to be worn while playing a competitive game. Wild, Wild West was where cowboy attire wasn’t frowned upon. This outdated trend seems to be coming back from the past, it's typical to see this style tend to be worn daily. Ending the spirited week, students were rocked raptor red at the homecoming game!
