UTSA DAY

UTSA Day is our large open house event that begins with check-in at 10:30 am followed by all our scheduled events from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Participants can enjoy many activities like tours, presentations, workshops and more. UTSA One Stop Enrollment Center

The One Stop Enrollment Center assists with all questions related to financial aid, undergraduate admissions and registration. Whether it’s in-person, online or over the phone, our One Stop counselors are here to help and can be reached in whatever way is most convenient for you.

This year's Family Weekend will be a combined experience with UTSA Homecoming! On Friday and Saturday, October 18 and 19, 2024, Families are invited to BestFest, Student Indoor Tailgate, and UTSA Football game against Florida Atlantic. Family Weekend is an opportunity to have a shared UTSA family experience while also meeting other roadrunner families. More events will be added to this year's schedule soon!

2025–26 FAFSA® Form Coming Soon

The 2025–26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form will be available to the public on or before Dec. 1, 2024.

How To Prepare for the 2025–26 FAFSA® Form Here are some ways you can get ready:
  • Create a StudentAid.gov account (if you don’t already have one).
  • Learn about the documents you may need to fill out the FAFSA form.
  • Determine your dependency status and whether your parent(s) or spouse will be required to contribute information on your FAFSA form.
  • If you’re a dependent student, use the Who’s My FAFSA Parent? wizard to identify which parent(s) will be a required contributor on your form.

The Department of Education will email students (and parents of dependent students) who applied on the 2024–25 form, reminding them to apply for 2025–26. To ensure you receive updates, log in to your StudentAid.gov account and confirm we have your current email address.

  • When will the FAFSA 2025-2026 application be available? FAFSA 2025-2026 application will be available on December 1, 2024.
  • When will I receive my refund? If you have direct deposit set up, you will be seeing the refund within 2-3 business days and if it's not set up than you will receive a check in the mail within 1-2 weeks after the financial aid has disbursed into your tuition balance.
  • How to set up direct deposit? Please log on to your myUTSA Account Modern View and follow the steps; Click on the Main Menu (top left) and select “Student Services" Under the Menu: Fiscal Services card, click on the “Sign Up for Direct Deposit” link; Provide Bank Checking Account and Bank Routing number
  • Will we be notified once UTSA has received the FAFSA application? Federal student aid will send student an email when their FAFSA information has been sent to their selected schools and when you can access your FAFSA Submission Summary on StudentAid.gov.
  • How do you invite contributors to the FAFSA application? To invite a contributor to your FAFSA form, you'll need to provide their name, date of birth, Social Security number, and email address.
  • If I was single back in 2022 but I am now married, do I still have to provided Spouse information on the FAFSA application? If you are now married but filed single 2022 tax return, you will be required to provide Spouse information since we are going based on the present information when you are filling out the FAFSA.
  • How does one provided consent on the FAFSA form? The contributor will log in to their account using their FSA ID (username and password), check the information needed for their section on the FAFSA form, and give consent, approval, and a signature.
  • What if FAFSA can't calculated my SAI? If a student, spouse, or parent does not provide consent on the FAFSA, the Student Aid Index (SAI) will not be calculated, and the student will not be eligible for financial aid.

What actor would you choose to play you in your biopic? "I would choose Sandra Echeverria to play me in a biopic"

What your favorite family tradition? "Favorite Family tradition is gathering before the Christmas holiday to make tamales for all to enjoy."

What is the best advice you have ever received? "The biggest mistake you can make in life is thinking you have enough time. "

If you could choose one superpower, what would it be? If I could choose one superpower it would be telekinesis, to manipulate elements and objects.

What restaurant or café place do you recommend people to try out? Early Bird Coffee is my favorite cafe currently. Their horchata latte is perfect (along with every other drink on the menu). The owner and staff are so kind too!

What is your favorite movie/TV show? Favorite movie: Good Will Hunting Favorite TV show : The Bear

What actor would you choose to play you in your biopic? I would choose either Jenna Ortega or Zoe Kravitz.

What movie or show do you keep re-watching? One of my comfort films I always go back to is Oceans 11.

What is the best advice you have ever received? The best advice I've received is "This too shall pass." It's a great reminder to stay present in the moment and be grateful. We go through many different seasons in our life, that eventually "this too shall pass". It helps me appreciate the good times and be steadfast in the hard times.

What restaurant or café place do you recommend people to try out? "If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend Laika! They have the best cheesecakes"

What is your favorite movie/TV show? "My favorite show as of right now is True Detective"

What actor would you choose to play you in your biopic? "I think Matthew McConaughey would play a great role as me in my biopic"

What movie or show do you keep re-watching? "I keep rewatching ink masters, I've probably seen that show at least 10 times"

What is the best advice you haves ever received? ""As long as you tried that's all that matters."- my father"

Food Pantry: The Roadrunner Pantry is a community-supplied food pantry that is open to all students in need. You only need to bring your UTSA ID card with you. Students needing emergency assistance during non-operating hours can arrange for a food kit pick up by emailing RoadrunnerPantry@utsa.edu.
