What does your average day look like? Or what are some of your essential duties?
My average day consists of a lot of research, reviewing possible incidents that may happen in terms of security and writing and reviewing policy for cybersecurity.
What is your background/formal education that led to where you are in your career today?
I have a background in operational technology/informational technology development and deployment, which I developed during my time in the U.S. Army. After retiring from the Army, I contracted with the U.S. Air Force and conducted cybersecurity for Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado and Beale Air Force Base. I also recently received my bachelor's degree in cybersecurity in August.
