Scout splits her time between basketball and 2 equestrian teams and, of course, never slacks off on her academics.

Here is Scout at a recent show in Las Vegas where she was awarder high point open rider of the show and scored two first places, qualifying her for regionals in March.

Basketball is a time for Scout to be able to play a team sport and connect with her classmates. She practices her leadership skills as captain of both the dressage and hunt seat teams and co-cap

Along with riding for OVS, Scout has been riding her personal horse Kinnan in private shows for over 4 years.

"Juggling so many commitments can be difficult sometimes, but I love challenging myself," said Scout.

As a student leader, Scout sets a great example of how you can challenge yourself in more than just academics at OVS.

"I used to hate it when people told me to play basketball because of my height, but now I really enjoy playing," said Scout.
