Kindergarteners discover that learning really is magical!
At the beginning of the school year, our Kindergarten students discovered that learning really is magical at Otselic Valley! With the help of their teacher -- and her magic wand -- students recited a special poem, kneaded their clay, and watched in amazement as it changed color right before their eyes.
As the rhyme goes:
If another color does appear,
We’re sure to have a GREAT school year!
The classroom was filled with excitement as students saw the “magic” happen in their own hands. Their smiles said it all -- they couldn’t wait to tell their families that not only is their teacher magic, but they are too!
This special first-week activity was a wonderful reminder that at OV, learning begins with curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of magic.
