THE Production Team

Courtney Lowe (Director) has been passionate about the arts for over 40 years, finding her voice as an actor, singer, director, music director and teacher She currently serves as the Executive Director of Communities in Schools of High Point.  Courtney most recently directed HPCT’s productions of Disney’s "Newsies" and Agatha Christie’s "And Then There Were None". She is also the founder, director, and music director of "The Troupe", HPCT’s Junior Theatre Festival competition team. On stage, audiences may recognize her from roles such as the Ghost of Christmas Past in "A Christmas Carol: The Musical", Diana in "Next to Normal", Violet in "9 to 5: The Musical", Tanya in "Mamma Mia", Mrs. Wormwood in "Matilda: The Musical", and tmot recently Belinda in "Noises Off".  Throughout her career, Courtney has worked to create accessible, high-quality theatrical experiences, and to inspire artists and audiences alike. She was honored as the High Point Arts Council’s "Arts Educator of the Year" and is a recipient of the prestigious "Freddie G. Fellowship for Musical Theatre Education Excellence". She also serves on the HPCT Board of Directors, the High Point Arts Council Board of Directors, the High Point Theatre Advisory Council, the Guilford County Schools Visual & Performing Arts Taskforce,  Courtney is incredibly grateful to this cast and production team for their talent, hard work and energy. Working with these young artists has been a joy, and watching them bring Greg Heffley’s world to life — complete with all its chaos, humor, friendship, and “middle school survival guide” moments — has been an unforgettable experience. She hopes the audience leaves laughing, inspired, and maybe just a little more grateful they made it through middle school themselves.

As the founder of Born to Perform, Trinity is passionate about creating inclusive performing arts opportunities for children of all abilities, helping young performers build confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Her experience in both education and the arts allows her to foster supportive, engaging environments where every child can thrive. When she’s not teaching, directing, or performing, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Halo, who inspires her every day.
