Welcome to the 19th Annual Mississauga Dragon Boat Festival!

Itinerary

Teams should begin arriving at 7:15 am. Teams can set up tents across the street in the schoolyard or on the grass along Front Street North between Lakeshore Road and High Street West.

7:15 Registration opens. All teams should check in upon arrival. Teams should have submitted a Roster and have had all paddlers complete an online MDBF waiver. Teams will not be allowed to race until these are completed.

7:45 Captain’s Meeting. Please ensure at least one representative from your team is present for this meeting. Teams not following protocol or safety rules may be disqualified.

8:15 Welcome

We will be using WhatsApp year as additional form of announcement communication. Teams can use this link:

8:30 Races begin. Teams must be in Marshaling 30 minutes prior to their race time. Please note that due to some circumstances, race times may be ahead or behind their posted schedule. Listen to the announcer or check the WhatsApp messages throughout the day for updates.

All paddlers must wear PFD’s. PFD’s and paddles will be provided should you need them.

Steers people/Drummers are available on site. Please check with Eric in marshaling to arrange a Steersperson/Drummer for your race.
