Shannon- Owner, Beauty Tech, LEADER & MENTOR
Shannon, is the owner of Hair to be Different of Cape Coral as of September 2019; however, the salon was originally established in 2006. Her daughter Lily is in highschool and often seen around the salon helping out. Shannon has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. She is a skilled stylist, and a certified advanced master educator. Before purchasing the salon, she recently was teaching at the beauty school in Bonita Springs for 6 years. She has had the pleasure to do hair in New Jersey, Hawaii and Florida. She brings that style and experience to each of her clients. She is a master colorist, being Sassoon, Matrix and Italian color trained. She loves the challenge of color corrections. She brings all this, and her love for the beauty industry into this new venture. She uses her passion for teaching and learning to serve both her stylist and her clients. We are blessed to have her.
Amy- SENIOR Salon Manager & MARKETING DIRECTOR
Amy has been with Hair to be Different of Cape Coral since 2017. She started with us as a part time job, but her love for the industry and the skills to keep everything running has advanced her to the position of managing the salon. She leads our salon with a smile and silly personality. She has found a passion for photography while working in the salon and loves to take photos of our client's beautiful hair. She is also known for making funny Tik Tok videos of our salon life. Her family consists of 4 children, 2 dogs and a cat who keep her busy while she is out of work. She is a blessing to our team!
Elizabeth- Cosmetologist specializing in esthetics
Elizabeth started with us about 2 years ago as our Education Director for our Associate's Program. She had previously taught cosmetology in schools for 15 years. Shannon met her when they were both teaching hair down in Bonita. We were happy to bring her on to help our new stylists transition from school to the salon. Over the last year, her love for skincare became a topic of discussion and we thought it would be amazing to bring facials and other skin treatments into our salon. December 2023 this dream for both Elizabeth and Shannon became a reality. We are happy to announce this new service for our clients and highly recommend you check out our facial page on the website.
Adrianne- Master Hair stylist & Make-up Artist
Adrianne has been with Hair to be Different for over 11 years. She became a licensed cosmetologist in 2006 and began her career at this salon in 2008. She is a skilled colorist with an amazing ability to create either edgy hair or a soft natural look. Her clients would tell you that she is fun and always has new ideas for your hair. She will work with you to make sure you leave feeling your style is unique and fits your personal style, as well as your lifestyle. She specializes in platinum hair, highlights, and natural looking balayage. She is excellent with brow waxing and tinting. Her talent doesn't end there, as she also is great with kids, and men's current styles. Adrianne is one of our wedding stylist. She has an amazing portfolio of bridal up dos and makeup that will make you feel excited for your wedding day. Our salon is enriched to have this talented, seasoned professional on our team!
Jolene- Master Hair stylist & Make-up Artist
Jolene joined our Hair to be Different team in 2016. Originally from California, she brings a west coast vibe to the salon. Having graduated at the top of her class, she is a master colorist and always stays current with the latest trends in hair. Jolene specializes in lobs/bobs, highlights, foilyage and color corrections. She is excellent with curly and thick haired clients. Short or long hair, she will have you leaving her chair feeling fabulous about your look. Jolene is also one of our wedding stylist with a gorgeous portfolio of makeup and up dos. To complete your hair services, Jolene offers brow waxing and tinting services, along with lash lifts and tints. She is certified in Brazilian Blowout and keratin treatments to help manage your frizzy hair from our Florida heat. Lastly, she is a certified Dream Catcher hair extension professional. Between her speed and craft in placement of extensions, she is one of the best in Cape Coral. We are truly lucky to have this rising star on our team!
Liz- SENIOR Hair stylist & braider
Liz has been with us since August of 2021. She has been doing hair for several years now. After hair school, she trained for a year and a half in an upscale salon in Naples. She then gained employment with our salon to work closer to home. Originally from Mexico, she is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. Liz offers haircutting, coloring, keratin and Brazilian Blowout treatments. She also specializes in braiding. Her goal is to make people feel beautiful, one head at a time. We are very lucky to have her as part of our team.
dasia- junior HAIR Stylist
Dasia began working for our salon in July of 2021 after graduating hair school in 2020. She was born and raised in Southwest Florida. When she isn't doing hair, Dasia loves to be outdoors, spend time with her friends and listening to country music. She enjoys making people feel beautiful, both on the inside and outside. Dasia completed our associates program and graduated to being an amazing stylist. Her time in our program helped her to gain the knowledge that she needed to be a confident stylist on the floor. She offers all cutting and coloring services, perms, keratin treatments, Brazilian Blowouts, along with brow waxing and tinting. Her bubbly personality makes everyone smile who is around her and we are lucky to have her.
Donna- salon assistant (miracle worker 🪄)
Donna started with us in 2023. She is the magic behind all the hustle that keeps our salon running smoothly. Her witty humor and happy personality make her a perfect fit for our salon. We are lucky to have her.
