Beware! If you didn’t initiate the multi-factor authentication method, don’t approve!
Be aware of random multi-factor authentication (MFA) requests for malicious attempts to compromise your UTRGV account and other personal accounts.
Only respond to the MFA method you chose immediately after you initiated the authentication process when accessing your account.
If you didn’t initiate and you get randomly called or prompted to approve authentication, choose deny.
The multi-factor authentication process is to provide an added layer of protection, but it’s only as strong as your awareness to potential threats.

ASSIST - Access your grades, transcript, course, financial aid and your student bill.
M365 - Access the Microsoft suite online and contact your peers and professors.
Brightspace - Online learning platform where students can access their courses, assignments, grades, and more.
V Link - Get connected with on campus events by networking with your peers.
Engagement Zone - Engage in your community by accessing volunteer opportunities with local organizations.
iTravel+ - Submit request for travel with supervisor workflow. Request and book for academic conferences and events.
Watermark - Provide an electronic academic program and course approval system for creating, modifying, and accessing degree programs and individual courses.
PeopleSoft - Direct Deposit, Monthly Pay Slips, W-2 Forms, Request Leave Absences, and submit Monthly Timecards.
HR Portal - Act as the HRMS system to submit employee request forms.
E-Learn - Online training resources, books, and videos.
Handshake - Part of the initial hiring process where we can submit job vacancies for part-time employees and internships.
V OneCard - Produces ID cards for identification, dining, payments, transportation, employment authentication, printing and health services.
Gartner - Provides students, faculty, and staff with free access to premium research and insights.
People Admin - Managing faculty, staff, and graduate assistantship hiring processes.
My UT Benefits - Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other wellness programs.
Zoom - online video platform that makes it easy to schedule one-to-one or group meetings, teach online courses, and conduct online training.
Ad Astra - Scheduling software used by UTRGV to reserve rooms and spaces for academic and non-academic events.
Bravo - A peer recognition program that lets UTRGV employees celebrate colleagues who embody the VAQUEROS Culture of Service Excellence.
KnowBe4 - A security awareness and compliance training platform used by faculty and staff to help protect university data and systems.
CaterTrax - Online catering management system, used by faculty and staff to order food and beverage services for university events, meetings, and functions.
JobX - A platform for students and non-students to find part-time jobs, apply, and complete hiring.
LiquidFiles - A secure file transfer service used by students, faculty, and staff to send and receive large or sensitive files.
Library - Offers a wide range of services and resources tailored specifically for faculty members.
UTRGV Support Center - Click on Information Technology to search our client portal for knowledge base articles and to submit technology issues and service requests.
Surveys (Qualtrics) - Online survey tool to collect data for research purposes
vPrint - Print document anywhere on campus (25 printing credits per semester).
FPT - Allows faculty to record and track teaching, research, and service activities.

Search the Client Portal - Type for a topic or keyword for the issue you are experiencing

Software Assessment Requirement Note from our Chief Information Officer:
All UTRGV employees must submit a Software Assessment Request for all software purchases, including freeware and free applications, before buying, downloading, contract renewal, or any differences as defined in the original assessment.

All UTRGV employees requesting software must complete the Software Assessment Request to reduce duplicate spending, delays in the software procurement process and ensure that it is properly assessed before it is purchased and implemented at UTRGV.
