About Me
Hi, I'm Uzuri Ray, a Mexican-American 16-year-old underwater photographer based in Boyle Heights. I began my journey with photography in 9th grade when my mother enrolled me in Las Fotos Project. Through my photography I aim to capture special memories by being the historian of my family. I focus most on candid portraiture. By shooting in lifestyle I am able to capture my models true personality and the truly happy moments.
I began my relationship with water at the age of 6 when I began swimming competitively. Ever since then I've had a deep connection with water and I always loved to be in it. At the beginning of this I began photographing underwater. I found that through photography I can express the deep love I feel for the water.
