Unity in Cempasúchil

Many of my community members gathered at the farm “Corazón de La Gente” during the Dia de Los Muertos celebration. As a young person, it felt powerful to be in a space with different representations of age, cultures, and personal experiences. Sharing our connection with the flower helped me realize that although we all have different life experiences, we are still connected by our memories and desire to keep our loved ones always remembered.
