Session 1: Creative Tools

Hi, my name is Rebecca Juereca and I am the MST and AP Chemistry at North Garland High School. I have been teaching at North Garland High school for 15 years. I help teachers integrate technology into their classrooms as the i3 for the campus. At home, I have my husband, Bruno and our 2 children, Jonathan and Brandon.

Session 2: Creative Process

This could amplify learning in my classroom with awesome creative ideas.

  • I could have students create about me posters.
  • They could create one-pagers for content and then animate it or even add audio over the slide as a presentation.

Session 3: Creative Assessment

Which practices are you excited to add into your work next year?

I learned so much and so many cool things to use to amp up some creation tools while in the classroom.
My only suggestions is to have a plan time for creating an assignment with a rubric that we could use in our classroom.
The interactive work environment is best to help set the stage and create a learner centered environment with the means to reach our potential rather than alone and in a virtual setting.
