Breaking News!
Exciting Construction Updates
We are thrilled to announce that construction for the new Junior College will officially begin on Monday, March 17! 🚧🏗
Next week, site fencing will be installed, followed by more solid construction fencing within the site. Alongside this exciting project, work will also commence on the new hardcourts and senior playground.
We can’t wait to see these fantastic new spaces come to life and look forward to using the hardcourts and senior playground approximately eight weeks after construction begins.
You can still access the school from both the Dawson Road entrance and the Chapel Road entrance throughout the construction period. The drop off zone at Chapel Road will still be open.

Construction Fencing
Next week, construction fencing will be erected around the building site, following the areas marked with red dotted lines. The larger fenced area will be the site for the three-storey Junior College building, while the other area will be developed into the new hardcourts and senior playground.
The building site will be secure and only the Brosnan building contractors will be able to enter the construction area.
New Senior Playground & Hardcourts
It will take about eight weeks for the new Year 4, Year 5, Year 6 playground and the hardcourts to be built. They will be a fabulous addition to our play space, especially over the winter when the field is too wet to use.
The hardcourts will be covered by Tiger Turf and they will have a netball court and a basketball court.
A big step forward!
We’re super pumped for this work to begin—the Junior College is very real now! It has been fantastic working alongside the Ministry of Education to create an educational pathway for our tamariki, from the Early Learning Centre through Primary School and now onto the Junior College. This is an exciting milestone for our school community, and we can't wait for the future ahead!
Stay tuned for more updates in the next school newsletter!
