This is a black and white capture from a reflection project I was assigned. I was running low on ideas for my photography. I got creative and positioned these props over a mirror. Later during the editing process I reversed the black and white gradient to create this cool effect pictured on the screen. This picture captures emotion and imperfections. I just tried to put myself on a canvas and illustrate who I am through the tool of photography.
This is a very creative black and white piece. Fifty percent of this photo is colored using a brush in photoshop. I used a pair of sunglasses that I own to create a reflection and I sprinkled firecrackers in front of the glasses. It isn't my favorite photo that I have created; however, it isn't awful.
This is a very cool duotone picture that I made for a project. I held my camera up to the mirror and took the picture. It created a cool doubling effect by using the mirror. The process to convert the regular photo into a duotone was pretty easy. I really like how this turned out.
When this surreal project was given to my I was utterly clueless as to what I should capture with this opportunity. I started brainstorming ideas but none of them felt right. I wanted to create something that was special to me. In order to do that I needed to use pieces in this photo that are special to me. I love drumming and it is a core part of who I am so that was the inspiration. The editing process was long and hard but well worth it.
These three pictures are of water and oil. Since oil and water don't mix, there's an opening for creativity. I poured water into a clear glass pan and layered oil on top of the water. I aligned colorful lights under the pan and that's how I made this really cool collage.
Similar to my other collage it is oil and water. Which again, THEY DO NOT MIX. These four pictures are very colorful and really pop. They coordinate well with the background and are appealing to the eye. I really enjoyed making these photos.
