Lunch at Largs Academy

Lunch at Largs Academy is completely cashless so parents must upload money to their childs iPayimpact account. This will allow your child to use their online balance to purchase a wide range of lunch options such as:

• Main Meals Deal - Includes a selection of hot meals everyday
• Panini Meal Deal - Cheese, Spicy Chicken, Tuna Melt or Chicken Mayo
• Deli Meal Deal - Choice of Baguette, Wrap or Bread (same fillings as panini's)
• Burger Meal Deal - Chicken Burger or Burger of the Day

All Meal deals include a drink and an 'extra' - Soup, cookie, yoghurt or muffin.

Please click the link below to access the iPayimpact website to register and upload money to your child's account. Pin Numbers will then be provided to students to use at the time of purchase.

Pre Order Lunch Using Fusion App

Pupils can pre order lunch from the pre order machine in the canteen. This can however become very crowded at times so our advice would be to use the Fusion App. This can be downloaded from the Apple and Android store and then parents can register or login using their login details - an 'onboarding code' is required which is emailed out to all parents at the start of the school year. Parents can also contact the school office to retrieve their onboarding code.

Extra Curricular Activities at Largs Academy

We encourage pupils to get involved in extra curricular activities at Largs Academy to ensure they build on skills essential outside of the classroom including social, interpersonal and team building. Below is a list of current extra curricular activities on offer:

School Lockers

Lockers are assigned to pupils on a first come first served basis from the main office on level 2. A payment of £10 is required with £5 being a deposit that is returned to the pupil at the end of the year.

Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is used extensively at Largs Academy and pupils will use the platform from S1 through to S6. The main uses of the platform are:

• Accessing homework tasks
• Posting questions to teachers and other students
• Registration taks
• Accessing files such as revision materials, past paper questions, coursework etc.
• Homework Calendar - week by week overview of task due for specific classes

Anti - Bullying Policy

North Ayrshire and Largs Academy are determined to quickly and effectively deal with incidents of bullying. Our school works to the following core anti-bullying procedures:

• Develop a culture based on the values of wisdom, justice, compassion and integrity.
• Any allegation of bullying will be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
• Appropriate action will be taken to resolve incidents in both the short and long term interests of the alleged victim.
