Using Quick Actions for Images An Online resource for Staff using Adobe Express

In this online resource we are going to look at some of the new tools in Adobe Express, known as 'Quick Actions'. The Activities will demonstrate a couple of the most popular quick actions and then allow you time to try using the other quick actions available. You can either your own personal photos from your own devices or use training asset examples provided.

Easily crop your image in seconds

  1. On the Adobe Express homepage, under What do you want to make, select Photo.
  2. Scroll down to the Quick Actions section and select Crop image.
  3. Browse for an image on your device.
  4. Drag the handles on the corners of the image to create your desired crop.
  5. Select Download. You can also select Open in Adobe Express to use the file in another project.

Removing a background from an image

  1. On the Adobe Express homepage, under What do you want to make, select Photos.
  2. Under the Quick Actions menu, select Remove background.
  3. Browse for a file on your device.
  4. Open in editor to add new background.
  5. Select Elements > Backgrounds, to select a new background image.
  6. Select Download.
