Highlight:-

Welcome back everybody! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. Our toddlers eased right back to their normal routine.

The toddlers are exploring every corner of the room, and the teachers have to stay alert to keep up with them.

The toddlers had fun decorating the Christmas tree in the classroom.

Practical Life Skill:-

In the practical life skill area children are working hard to learn twisting nuts and bolts, cutting/slicing wooden vegetables, pounding wooden spikes, decorate Christmas tree and wet pouring-funnel activities. The wet pouring activities help a children to use fine-motor skills and also help to figure out whether to use one hand or both while holding a cup.

Sensorial Area:-

In the sensorial section children are enjoying to take out things from mystery bags. Matching buttons, matching fabric/textures and patterns. Fabrics touch helps to develop tactile discrimination of variety of textures. Sound/no sound basket is very fun sensorial activity for children, sound basket helps children to refine the sense of hearing and teach vocabulary such as "loud", "soft", "loudest", "louder", etc.

Math Area:-

In the math section children are learning number puzzle, counting snowflake, patterning , it helps children to boost their concentration levels, develop listening and observation skills, when children try to move the beads they need to use there finger and thumb, it also helps to develop their fine motor skills. Children are learning patterns, it helps them to discuss relationships and functions, provides experience with symbols representing ideas.

Language Area:-

In the language section children are learning alphabet and trying to put in the sequence, children are learning new vocabulary with the vocabulary cards and it helps them to learn and show an understanding of letters and the objects.

Science Area:-

In the science section, children are learning about seasons-fall to winter. They are matching the cards that's really fun for them. Children are enjoying to solve puzzle of hibernation animals and they are learning about evergreen tree and deciduous tree.

Art Area:-

In the Art area, children are enjoying to making Christmas ornaments using paper snowflakes. Art helps them develop fine motor skills, improve hand-eye coordination, and promote social development.
