Mission Teams Summit, April 14, 12:15-2 p.m.: Our mission teams create opportunities to learn and serve in the areas of Affordable Housing, Food Insecurity, Schools & Children, and Equity & Empowerment. If you're already a member of a mission team or if you want to get engaged in the Charlotte community, join us for an afternoon of reflection, inspiration, and planning for collaborative community outreach. Zoe Empowers Kenya Presentation, April 21, 9:45 a.m., Francis Chapel: In January, 13 church members visited Zoe Empowers in Kenya. They heard beautiful stories of hope and inspiration and witnessed God working through teens and young adults to make an impact in their communities. Join us as they present these stories, share the amazing work Zoe is doing in Kenya, and learn about upcoming trips to various Zoe countries.

New - Sundae Fun Day for Second Graders, April 21, 4-5 p.m., room 240: Second graders, join us to play games, enjoy ice cream sundaes, and learn more about the upcoming milestone of receiving your third grade Bible. The Journey - Myers Park UMC Handbells in Concert, April 21, 6:30 p.m., Jubilee Hall: Join us for a concert featuring all of our handbell groups – from Tinkerbells to Southern Bells. Come see what handbells can do!

Are You Called to be a Buddy? The new MP Buddies ministry pairs children who have special needs and need extra support during Sunday School with an adult buddy who provides one-on-one leadership and attention. If you are interested in serving as an adult buddy to a child during Sunday School, email Amy Jo Alspaugh at amyjo@mpumc.org.

Summer Opportunities
