How it works
Prep documents & planning meetings
A document filled with tips that I have learnt over the years to help you better prepare for your session, a packing checklist & a lingerie or styling guide.
As well as an in person or online clarity call for outfit direction and planning before your session, an in person or online reveal session showcasing all of your beautiful edited images presented in a slideshow, and a purchasing session, should you decide to purchase more images or prints then is included in your chosen package.
Clarity Session
We have a 30 minute chat online where we get to know each other. I ask you questions that will help me to get to know you better. This will allow me to find out what your intentions are behind doing the shoot, as well as what you are hoping to get out of it.
I give you advice on the next steps forward as well as some homework for you to do so that we are on the same page as to exactly what you are looking to get out of your photoshoot. I will also guide and advise you on what to wear for your photoshoot.
Shoot Day
Your session starts with being pampered by one of our hair and make up artists. The number of looks and set options will depend on the package chosen and the themes that we discuss in your clarity session.
As boudoir photography is an intimate thing, outfit styling is to be arranged by you, the client. We are available and happy to give you advice on styling ideas as well as what looks good on different body types in the lead up to the shoot. This will be covered in your clarity session and in a document that I will send through after your call.
We have some wardrobe additions on set including things like kimonos, lacy gowns, bodysuits, knee high stockings, quirky socks and blankets and fabrics for you to make use of if you are doing a boudoir shoot with us.
For self-love and legacy portrait sessions we will have a consultation call in the lead-up to your shoot, once the deposit has been paid, to discuss location/s and refine outfit ideas.
Retouching and Image Reveal
I take the time to pre-select only the best of your images which are edited and uploaded for you to choose from. It is up to you which images are to be in your final selection.
Each package includes a certain amount of images. If you love your final images so much that you want more images than was included in your chosen package, pricing will be shared with you before your reveal so that you are confident in your final selection.
Turnaround Times
Digital products (digital images without prints) turnaround time can be up to 2 weeks from the date of your shoot.
A rush job of 3-4 days can be done by doing post production on the images in overtime. Rush edits cost an additional R2 500.00.
If you would like prints, most notably a photo book, please allow 4-5 weeks for design of the photo book as well as printing by my supplier.
Overall, if you are interested in prints the best timing to book your photoshoot is at least 6 weeks before the deadline date to make sure that there is enough time for the shoot, post production printing & delivery of your products to the studio.
Let's Talk Deposits & Payment Plans
As the experience is a part of the shoot our rates include a HMUA (hair and make up artist). The full rate is alongside each package listed below.
HMUA is not included in the Raw Package.
We ask a deposit to secure your booking. This is needed to secure your date. The deposit amount will be discussed in your clarity session. If you would like to pay the fee in full up front we appreciate it.
There is also a payment plan option. Let me know if you would you like to hear more about this option in your clarity session.
Custom Made Packages & Release Forms
Custom made packages are an option. If you have a specific set of requirements and budget in mind please let me know and I will see what I can put together to accommodate your needs and budget.
A release form will be sent after your shoot, once you have seen your images. Here you will be able to outline if/how you would like your images shared on social media. Should you wish to keep your images private there is this option on the release form.
Fantasy Package

Travel up to 100km round trip (for photographer and HMUA).
