Chintan Kalra's
Ukulelisten &nsemble
Chintan Kalra is one of India’s best-known musicians and ukulelist – with over three decades in the music industry – performing across multiple instruments and stages. This project distills this vast experience into the gentle, expressive voice of the ukulele. What emerges is refined, intimate musicianship: where years of rock, rhythm, melody, and composition are boiled down into a deeply personal and nuanced ukulele sound. Presenting renditions of soulful compositions from the two volumes titled Endless Strum, with other raag & folk based improvisations, this ensemble features stellar musicians from across the world - who together create unique and mesmerising soundscapes that lift the melodies to another level.
This is not just a ukulele performance. It is the distillation of a lifetime in music: rock energy, compositional depth, rhythm, melody, and storytelling, all flowing through the soft, expressive voice of the ukulele. Expect an intimate setting, original compositions, musical anecdotes, and a rare chance to witness refined musicianship up close.
