SEAHAWK SUCCESS
Following one of the most successful years in Wagner College Athletics history, the Seahawks delivered yet another remarkable and historic campaign during the 2024-25 season.
As we look ahead to the new academic year, I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes—both in the classroom and in competition.
Academically, our department posted an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.39, highlighted by Julio Martinez and Ruben Van Gool being named Northeast Conference Winter Scholar-Athletes of the Year.
Athletically, the women’s track & field team made history by winning both the indoor and outdoor NEC Championships for the first time in program history. Our women’s water polo team continued its dominance, capturing a 12th MAAC title and securing an NCAA Tournament victory for the second straight year. In total, 87 Seahawks earned All-Conference honors across 20 teams.
Thank you to President Doggett, the Board of Trustees, and the entire Wagner College administration for their continued support of our programs and student-athletes.
Go Seahawks!
