Our Mission: To develop independent, life long learners with strong foundations of literacy and numeracy through real, student driven, inquiry learning, using ICT as a tool.
The NELPs are part of the Governments long term strategy for helping children and young people to attain their educational potential; preparing young people for participation in civic and community life and for work, and promoting resilience, determination, confidence, creative and critical thinking, good social skills and the ability to form good relationships; and helping children and young people to appreciate diversity, inclusion and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Responding to Community Consultation
Following our 2022 community consultation, we identified three areas that were highlighted as aspects we scored lowest. Staff conducted an analysis of these areas and considered some outside factors that may have impacted this consultation. We then worked on finding was to mitigate these. The areas are addressed in the following action plan.
