Term 1b, week 3

In this week’s STEM session, we created circuits to help Eddie Howe out with his team tactics. We used copper wire and worked in pairs to create the circuits to light up the LEDs in turn: one LED represented the attacking players, another for the midfield players and the final LED was for the defence. This linked nicely to the work on circuits and electricity that we have been doing in our Science lessons.

Another week, another cricket session with Dan. The sun shone for us again but it was very chilly! We were split into 3 teams and we each took it in turn to bat and field. The winning team was the team who collected the most markers. It was a great game to play and kept us warm.

Finally this week, we continued to practise our sewing skills. Some of us perfected the back stitch so we are ready to have a go at making our Viking pouches and purses.
