Otselic Valley Honors Veterans with Breakfast and Schoolwide Program
Otselic Valley proudly commemorated Veterans Day with a special breakfast and ceremony hosted by our FFA Chapter on Friday, November 7th. Veterans were welcomed with a delicious breakfast prepared by FFA members and enjoyed time connecting with one another, as well as with OV staff, administration, and Board President Dave Cruikshank.
Following the meal, FFA members led a heartfelt program in the MPR to recognize and honor those who have served. Students shared moments of appreciation for the veterans in attendance, as well as for the families of those who have served our country. The program also featured patriotic performances by the OV chorus and band under the direction of Mr. Scott and Mr. Taylor. A moving performance of TAPS offered a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by service members. Adding to the atmosphere, our preschool students created handmade cards and personally delivered them to veterans after the ceremony. Otselic Valley extends deep appreciation to our FFA members, FFA Advisor Mrs. Lehman, and all staff and volunteers who helped make this event possible. It was a morning filled with gratitude, pride, and community as we came together to honor the veterans who have served our nation.
