urgent - library returns

please return all library books so we can complete our annual stock take. students will have received a list of current outstanding returns.

morning school drop off

If you are dropping your child at the stairs in the mornings, please do not park and get out of your car, just drop and go. Otherwise this creates a traffic jam and there is not enough room for cars to be stopped safely behind you. If you need to get out of your car, please park in the car park near the bus turn-around.

bbhs year 7 2026 orientation day

2-3 english

Learning Through Baking - The Year 2/3 students discovered the importance of following clear, step-by-step procedures while baking cookies. By measuring, mixing, and following each step, they learned that sequencing and careful instructions lead to a successful, tasty result!

4-6 inquiry

The senior students have been investigating the impact of Australian Federation on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. They have also learned about significant historical figures such as Barangaroo and Pemulwuy. Students created posters and iMovies to show their understanding. Some of the younger students happily acted in their films.

k-1 maths

We have been having great fun using our cooperative skills to construct 3D structures and objects using clever sticks.

4-6 art

In Creative Arts classes we have been investigating sculptures from around the world. This week we created our own sculptures using wire and aluminium foil.

swimming

What a fantastic first week of swimming! Students from Kindy to Year 6 had a wonderful time in their groups, and we’re excited to see their progress in week two.

recess craft group

As a way to enjoy quiet time with friends and promote craft as a leisure pastime, this term, students have been able to join the craft group at recess. Harper has completed her first project and is helping the next group of younger students learn how to sew using huckerback. Harper then used the sewing maching to create her beautiful cushion. Watch out as other students finish their projects and begin a new activity.
