East Ave Lacrosse League Spring 2024

Our East Ave Spring 2024 League is just around the corner and we can't wait to get on the field! Our teams are all coached by high school coaches and players that are rooted in the community! All Below teams are East Ave Park District teams! East Ave Girls Instagram

Jewelry is not allowed to be worn while playing lacrosse. If you have earrings that have been recently pierced please cover the ear rings with tape. All players must have a mouth guard to play.

Locations

  • April 14th will be held at Graf Park in Wheaton
  • April 21st will be held at Graf Park in Wheaton
  • April 28th will be held at Newton Park in Glen Ellyn
  • May 12th will be held at Naperville North
  • May 19th will be held at KLM Hinsdale

Times

  • 1st - 2nd grade will start around 9:00 am each sunday
  • 3rd - 4th grade will likely start around 10:30 am each sunday
  • 5th-6th grade will like start around 12:30 pm each sunday
  • 7th-8th grade will likely start around 2:30 pm each sunday

League Formats

1st - 2nd Grade U8

  • 3v3 to 4v4 with no positions and no goalies.
  • Players must attempt one pass before shooting.
  • There is no stick checking at this age group.
  • Players must attempt a legitimate shot for a goal to count. Meaning players are not allowed to drop their stick and roll it under the goalie protector on the goal.

3rd - 4th Grade U10

  • Positions will be introduced and game play will be 6v6 or 7v7 with no goalies. There are 2 attack, 2-3 midis and 2 defense on the field, using the half line as the restraining line.
  • Players must attempt one pass before shooting.
  • There is no stick checking at this age group.
  • Players must attempt a legitimate shot for a goal to count. Meaning players are not allowed to drop their stick and roll it under the goalie protector on the goal.

5th - 8th Grade U12 & U14

  • Most game days will be played at full field 12v12
  • Some game days will be played without positions 6v6 like they do in the World Games.
  • Modified stick checking will be allowed.
