Dear friends and family,

It has been a month since we came to Bogota and we have a lot to thank the Lord for.

Church

Our church in Bogotá is called Nuevo Amanecer. This is their youtube page:

In the church we have been able to participate in all the activities they do.

Spending time with our brothers and sisters is always an encouragement and a blessing.

Eimy has really enjoyed being back.

YOUTH GROUP

We have been in charge of the youth group activities, and Jordan has given the biblical teachings.

I help with games before the study.

Young adults

We started a young adult group for the first time in the church, which was a group that had never met but had always wanted to.

The time was a great blessing and we thank God that we were able to be a part of it.

Friends

With friends from the church we have had some blessed times as well.

We were also washing the church chairs one afternoon.

God gave us a very sunny afternoon to dry them :)

praises

Answered prayer

God provided through an offering so that Jordan and I could get our driver's licenses.

Here in Colombia it is necessary to attend theoretical and practical classes, and next week we will have our licenses, God willing.

Thanks for have been praying for this :)

Family

As a youth ministry coordinating team, we meet and pray for each other.

Andres (my cousin) and Valeria (his wife) are also part of this team.

We thank the Lord for them.

Hospitality

We are currently staying with a young couple from the church, Brian and Angie, who are the youth ministry leaders and live about 3 blocks from the church.

It has been good to be with them because we can organize church activities together, or evenings with young people from the church, among other things.

Their example has trully challenged and encouraged us a lot.

Discipleship on wheels

Our pastor invited us again to a "discipleship on wheels" with him, and Brian joined us this time.

prayer requests

For wisdom for when we are sharing with the youth group, we want to be of challenge and encouragement to them.
By provision for the next -and last- semester at the Institute, which begins at the end of this month (July).
For provision for Jordan's visa application for the United States. We are praying for a miracle so that we can visit our sending church there.
For direction from the Lord regarding our future ministry.
