LICO ONE SHEET

BIOGRAPHY

LICO create music as contagious as the flu and as cutting as the bass that hallmarks their sound. Beginning as a two-piece bedroom project, founded by Fin Anderton (vocals/songwriter/producer) and Declan Bodger (vocals/songwriter) in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales. LICO quickly grew into a five-piece band with the additions of Sam Trotman (bass), Cal Eckley (drums) and Lloyd Jones (guitar).

Anderton and Bodger met for the first time when they were both 13 years old, taking a keen interest in riding penny skateboards, wearing awful chinos together and realising they had similar tastes in music and fashion.

Launching in January 2024, LICO burst onto the scene with their debut single Blocker Beta which quickly garnered radio support and live support slots, LICO released four more singles in 2024 including Casanova, We'll See, Freak and Gun2UrHead which we're picked up by both BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Wales as well as other indie stations, LICO played a number of sold out shows including headlining Clwb Ifor Bach, Tiny Rebel, Clwb Crown and headlining The Shed in Leicester. They took part in the iconic SWN Festival and Vela Pulsa and supported the likes of Hotel Miras, WRKHOUSE, MINAS and Public Order.

Absorbing influence from many different artists including MGMT, KAYTRANADA, SG Lewis, Sonder and more, LICO creates a truly unique and unforgivingly dynamic sound, that is crafted in Fin’s bedroom. Combining witty cynical lyrics, and infectious hooks, the juxtaposition between the vocals of Anderton and Bodger encapsulates any listener into a cathartic handbasket of sound.

2025 has got off to a flying start for the band, being selected for Horizons Launchpad Funding, headlining Tiny Rebel as part of SWN Sessions and their debut London performance in February. Thus far the band have released two singles in 2025, Vain in April and Losing My Mind in May.
