Wow! A fun and very busy week for our Nursery and Reception pupils this week! They all had their jump in day for their new topic 'on the beach' as well as our very first Lower School sports day! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
We had some great costumes for our jump in day! A big thank you to all the parents for all the different ideas and outfits!
Nursery put their thinking caps on to think about what you can find on the beach 🏖️🩴They drew beautiful pictures and coloured them in to share their understanding.
Reception used maps and globes to identify land and sea and learned the names of the creatures that live in different seas. They looked closely at different types of fish and drew and labelled their own fish to make their own book of fish. They thought about how pollution can harm the sea creatures.
We had a fabulous sports day today! Sadly the parents race was not to be as the rain set in.... there's always next year! 😉
