BIO

LiV SiN is a metal band fronted by vocalist Liv Jagrell. Liv has brought all her charismatic power and energy into LiV SiN and created a band that sounds both heavier and more modern in sound than her previous band Sister Sin. The album “Close Your Eyes” is the band’s fourth album and here the band has focused on a dynamic album with a lot of energy, and on getting emotions into each song, both through the musical and also lyrical aspects.

“We have definitely explored our limits on this album, and challenged ourselves,” Liv says. It is a blissful mix of heavy riffs, blast beats, beautiful melodies, growls, pop elements, disco beats and hard rock. There may not be a clear common thread, but we are inspired daily by how the world looks and there are a lot of lyrics from my (Liv’s) perspective and my feelings about world events and everyday life.

LIV SIN’s sound can be described as a mix of modern metal such as Parkway Drive and Jinjer, but with roots in the classic hard style from Gothenburg, with bands like The Haunted, In Flames and Arch Enemy.
