Dear Bluejay Family,

This week, we had the privilege of celebrating a beautiful Senior Mass and Reception for the SCS Class of 2021. It was a heartwarming moment to welcome these young men and women back to the nest as they prepare to graduate from high school in May. Seeing familiar faces and hearing their stories of growth and achievement was truly inspiring.

At St. Cecilia, we strive to create an atmosphere where our alumni always feel welcome and cherished. Once a Bluejay, always a Bluejay! We are proud of our former students and look forward to seeing all they will accomplish in the future. If you know of any former Bluejays who may need to update their contact information so that we can keep in touch, please reach out to our Alumni Relations Coordinator, Ashley Sonnier (asonnier@scsbluejays.org).

Please keep the Bluejay Class of 2021 in your prayers as they finish their high school journey and take their next steps in life.

Grace & Peace,

Erin B. Henry

Principal

Please note that ALL parish non-tithing fees have been billed. If you feel like you have received the invoice in error, please contact Marsha Granger or Ann Dugas (emails below). You may be asked to provide proof of your donations if you are not a registered parishioner and/or giving in a way that we could not verify. Dear Bluejay Family,

What a week of baseball and softball for SCS! They took to the diamond in great fashion, "literally," as they all received new uniforms. Mother Nature got the best of us one night, but we were still able to get 3 days of baseball and softball in. Track also started practice with one of our largest teams to date. Tennis will be ramping up in a few weeks. Both tennis and track also received new upgrades to their equipment that will make it easier to compete.

Congratulations to the Teurlings Catholic Wrestling Team for capturing the state championship yesterday in Shreveport. Notably, Bluejay alumni Nathan Box (4th overall), Alex Frith, Bryson Blanchard, JG Brandmeyer, Landon Stockstill, and Jaxson Armentor are now wrestling state champions! Congratulations also go to the STM Cougar Wrestling Team for finishing runner up for the first time in school history. They were led by Bluejay alumni Sawyer Pugh who finished as a state champion runner up in his weight class. Also on STM's team are Bluejay alum, Lincoln Pecoraro, Luke Hogan, Parker Latiolais, Brody Landry, Walker Pugh, and Mason Tierney. It is great to see our Bluejays make a difference in the sport of wrestling!
