Linnea Bethany Coon (Director/Choreographer)
is excited to be directing Addams Family for HPCT. She is a proud board member of the High Point Community Theater which she has been serving on for the past 5 years. Linnea is honored to bring this cast of wonderful performers to the Centennial Station Arts Stage. They have worked hard for the past 6 weeks to bring this amazing production together. She is extremely proud of each one these young performers. Other productions she has been involved with are HPCT Summer Camps (Lion King KIDS), (Beauty and the Beast Jr) and (Finding Nemo Jr). Some of her favorite roles on stage include Paulette (Legally Blonde), Ghost of Christmas Future (A Christmas Carol), Martha (Secret Garden), Winnifred (Once Upon A Mattress) and Maria (9 to 5). When not involved in theater, Linnea is a 4th grade ELA/SS/Science teacher at Foust Gaming and Robotics Elementary School in Guilford County. She wants to give a special Break a Leg to her cast and crew - Thank you all so much. Linnea hopes you are ready to relax and laugh while you enjoy Addams Family Young@Part.
Kristina Railsback (Music Director)
As an educator for over two decades, Kristina loves sharing her passion for theater with children and teens. She has music directed and directed many youth shows for High Point Community Theatre and other theater organizations throughout the Triad. She also loves to perform onstage when the opportunity presents itself! Kristina is also a member of the board of directors and is glad to be a part of HPCT’s mission to educate the next generation of performers and reach out to our community. She strongly believes that arts are for everyone, and being involved in theater can enrich the lives of all young people.
Sofia Schnaith-Ivan (Stage Manager) is a Senior at Bishop McGuinness High School. She has been doing theater for five years, onstage, backstage, doing costumes, and on various production teams at High Point Community Theatre. She has directed two school plays - Puffs and Radium Girls. Sofia’s most recent roles include Acolyte in HPCT “A Christmas Carol: The Musical,” and Scuttle (“The Little Mermaid”). Other roles include ensemble (“9 to 5”), Ms. Darbus (“High School Musical”), Mrs. Bradman (“Blithe Spirit”), ensemble (“Xanadu”), Motorist (“Clue”), ensemble (“Matilda Jr.”), and Middle Elsa (“Frozen Jr.”). Sofia is grateful to the High Point Theatre Board of Directors for this opportunity and she can’t wait to see everyone shine on stage!
Snap, Snap!
Sara Holcomb (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to be the ASM for this production of The Addams Family and to experience the stage from a different point of view. Sara has enjoyed performing in various productions with HPCT. However, she greatly appreciates the opportunity to help with this youth show. “All of these young performers have worked extremely hard with dedication and support of their family. It has been a delight to see them shine!”
Maeve Baldwin - (Ancestor) is excited for the opportunity to be part of her first High Point Community Theatre production. Her favorite roles include Hermey (“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”), Hortensia (“Matilda”), and Margo (“Props, not yours don’t touch).
Mackenzie Bennett - (Ancestor) is super excited to be in this show. This is her first play but she has been dancing since she was 2. Mackenzie has been doing competition dance for three years so the stage is not new to her at all. She is a superstar and loves to shine on stage.
Emma Bertschi - (Ancestor) is an 8th grader at Wesleyan Christian Academy and has been involved with HPCT since she was 7 years old. Favorite roles include Lavender (“Matilda” HPCT), Mersister/Princess (“The Little Mermaid” Wesleyan), Dory (“Finding Nemo, Jr” HPCT) and Lumiere (“Beauty and the Beast, Jr” HPCT). Much love to all her family and friends!
Iliana Boggs - (Ancestor) is in 6th grade and attends Penn Griffin school of the arts. This is her first full length production at HPCT, and she’s extremely excited to be a part of this production. In her free time she enjoys choreographing dances with her friends, swimming, reading and light treason. She would like to thank her parents for encouraging her to try new foods!
Madeleine Boggs - (Ancestor) is in 4th grade at Kirkman Park Elementary, and this is her first full-length production. She has enjoyed smaller roles in short plays and is thrilled to be playing an ancestor in The Addams Family. Her parents have always told her to “find her thing”, and she thinks it’s acting! Her dream role is Elphaba in Wicked, and Eliza or Angelica in Hamilton. Her favorite animal is an otter, her favorite book is Percy Jackson, (if you have not read it, she recommends it!) and her favorite type of ice cream is coffee.
Claire Carter - (Mal Beineke) is excited for this new challenge in acting that the character Mal brings. Claire has been on the High Point Community Theater Stage since 2021. Her favorite roles include Brigitta in Sound of Music and John in Peter Pan Jr. performance for the JTF troupe. Claire would like to thank her friends and family who came to see the show.
Addison Causey - (Grandma) is thankful for the opportunity to be in this show. Favorite roles include Big Kid Ensemble (“Matilda The Musical”) and First Narrator (“Godspell Jr.”)
Caleb Cook - (Lurch) is thankful for the opportunity to be in this show. He has found his home away from home at HPCT and enjoys participating in shows whenever possible. Caleb would like to thank his parents for their continued support, and to his fellow cast and crew, he wants to say...Grrrnh.
Christopher Cranford - (Lucas Beineke) is 16 and is exited to be in his first acting role with High Point Theatre as Lucas. In his free time he enjoys reading fantasy, playing Magic the Gathering, and chess.
Alana Drains - (Ancestor) is a 5th grader who loves art, music and is close to earning a black belt in Karate. This her third full length production and she is excited for her second performance with HPCT.
Izzy Giard - (Pugsley) is thrilled to be performing in this production as Pugsley! Her favorite roles so far have been Tiny Tim (“A Christmas Carol”), Gretl (“The Sound of Music”), and Nala (“The Lion King Kids”). When she’s not acting, Izzy loves reading, singing, and spending time with her family and friends. She dreams of performing on Broadway and inspiring others with her passion for the arts. Izzy would like to thank her parents, teachers, and friends for their endless support and encouragement. She would also like to thank HPCT for another amazing experience. Enjoy the show!
Elizabeth Gibson - (Ancestor) is thrilled to be back with HPCT for another exciting production! Previously, Elizabeth graced the stage with HPCT as Vlad Vladikoff (“Seussical Jr.”) and Christopher Robin (“Winnie the Pooh Kids”). Some of Elizabeth’s other favorite roles include Shere Khan (Jungle Book Kids) and Munchkin (“The Wizard of Oz”). Currently in fifth grade, Elizabeth has a passion for all things performing arts, including tap dancing, playing piano, acting, and singing. She would like to give a special shout-out to her parents, sister, and grandparents, who are her biggest fans!
Petra Hellams - (Ancestor) is excited to be in her first theater production. She is an artist who likes drawing and enjoys gymnastics. She’s also fluent in Spanish.
Emerson Kluttz - (Ancestor) is thankful and so excited for the opportunity to be in this show. She has enjoyed her time on stage and some of her favorite roles have included the Guard of Emerald City (“Wizard of Oz”), Young Nala (“The Lion King, Jr”), and Cruella de Vil (“101 Dalmatians”). She wants to thank Mr. Willis, her family and friends for their support!
Michelle Matthews - (Ancestor) is a 5th grader at Farmer Elementary. While this is her first traditional show with HPCT, it is her 14th overall. She has performed with HPCT’s The Troupe, Lexington Youth Theatre, and Randolph Youth Theatre. Her favorite roles have been Gretl VonTrapp (“The Sound of Music” at LYT) and Holly Christmas (“Twas the Night Before Christmas” at RYTC). She enjoys music, science, and art. Michelle would like to thank all of HPCT for welcoming her this year and giving her the opportunity to perform with many talented actors, directors, and crew. Break a leg!
Adalyn Nance - (Ancestor) is so excited to be in this production of “The Addams Family.” She has enjoyed working with all these amazing people and would like to thank Linnea, Sofia, and Kristina for all their time they dedicated towards this show. Break a leg!!
Quinn Norfleet - (Ancestor) is so excited to be a part of this show. This is her 3rd production after the Wizard of Oz and Winnie the Pooh. She discovered her love for acting while doing pageants. Quinn also enjoys tumbling, singing and dancing.
Addison Rizzuto - (Ancestor) is a 4th grader at Randleman Elementary where she earns straight A’s. At school, she enjoys Math, Music, and Art. She loves God and is actively involved in her church. She plays basketball and soccer; she also loves to draw and read.Addison is thankful to have this opportunity to be in the show, The Addams Family, Young@Part. This is her second High Point Community Theater production. She first fell in love with theater when she played Rafiki in “The Lion King.”
Evie Robbins - (Morticia Addams) is so excited to have the opportunity to be in this show! Some of her favorite past roles include Sarah Brown (Guys & Dolls) and Katalin Hunyak (Chicago).
Sebastian Schnaith-Ivan - (Uncle Fester) is a 5th grader at Southwest Elementary and has performed at HPCT and Lexington Youth Theatre. He most recently performed in a Christmas Carol as Jonathon. His other performances include Beauty and the Beast (Chip), the Sound of Music (Kurt), A Christmas Carol (Tiny Tim), Finding Nemo Jr. (Nemo), Matilda (Nigel), and Frozen Jr. (Pabbie). He loves anything horror and spicy food. He would like to thank his friends and family for always supporting him. Sebastian would like to give a special shout out to his amazing sister, Sofia, for introducing him to theater. Enjoy the show!
Cameryn Stoutz - (Ancestor) is a Freshman at Grimsley High School. She has been acting and singing for 8 years. Favorite roles include Gabriella (“High School Musical 2”), and Lavender (“Matilda”). She is thankful for the opportunity to be in this show.
Lily Thompson - (Gomez Addams) is super happy that she got this role and is excited to hear what people thought about the show. Previous shows include Tinkerbell (“Disney Mashup”), Pink Haired Murder Twin (“A Murder Mystery”), and Anderson Child (“Christmas Carol”).
Naia Turley - (Alice Beineke) is a 15 year old at Southwest High school. She plays Alice in this play which she is just so so excited for!! When she is not on the stage she enjoys to sing and also hangout with her friends! She hopes you enjoy this crazy dinner party with the Addams!
Hazel Turman - (Ancestor) is a second grader at Wesleyan Christian Academy. She is very excited to be a part of The Addams Family Young @ Part. Some of her favorite past roles include Eeyore (“Winnie the Pooh Kids”), Rafiki 4 (“Lion King Kids”), and Ignorance (“A Christmas Carol: The Musical”). When she’s not on the stage, Hazel enjoys reading, dancing, doing art, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ella Waldecker - (Ancestor) - is excited to participate in her second performance with High Point Community Theater. Ella has loved all the roles she has brought to the stage with HPCT. She has 4 years of dance experience, 5 years of piano training and a love of music and theater.
EmmaLynn Welch - (Ancestor) is stoked to be joining this cast. She is 8 years old and is obsessed with all things musical theater. She is grateful for this opportunity! This is her second HPCT show.
Karrington Welch - (Ancestor) is very excited to be in another HPCT production. Karri is 15, homeschooled, and her favorite roles have been Tiger Lily, (Peter Pan Jr.), and Nigel, (Matilda).
Raylan Welch - (Ancestor) is very excited to be a part of this production. This is his second foray into theater at HPCT. His first was A Christmas Carol where he played a Smythe child.
Sydney Williams - (Wednesday Addams) is so thankful for the opportunity to be in the Addams Family here at HPCT. Wednesday has been one of her dream roles since she was 10, and she is thrilled to be a part of this cast. Sydney would like to thank her parents for always driving her to rehearsals and auditions. This is her 3rd show with HPCT and she hopes to do many more with them.
Jordan Winslow - (Ancestor) is excited to be joining this talented cast. Recent roles include Munchkin Barrister/Crow/Jitterbug (“The Wizard of Oz”), Ensemble (“A Christmas Carol”), Brave Girl (“Peter Pan Jr” JTF adjudication), and Marta Von Trapp (“The Sound of Music”). Many thanks to HPCT, her vocal teachers, High Point Ballet, and her loving family and friends for their support. She is in fourth grade at Wesleyan Christian Academy.
