Dance at PS 202 is all about discovery, exploration, and creativity. Students are using the art of dance to learn how to use their bodies as a tool for creative expression. Prek-2nd grade are learning how to use the body through exploring locomotor and non-locomotor movements, using the body to make shapes and exploring space. Grades 3-5 are learning different styles of dance and the cultures they derive from. All grades are involved in dance making processes.
