“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”” John 13:34-35 ESV
As part of the mission that God entrusts to us is to go and make disciples, therefore I have had the opportunity to accompany the missionary in her encounters with her disciples, who give her support in her spiritual growth. Likewise, I have had the opportunity to accompany a member of the church to the doctor to be treated for her pregnancy, offering support and care in this process. It has been a blessing to be able to serve in these areas, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be an instrument of support and love in the Christian community where I am.
Another beautiful way of demonstrating Christ's love for our neighbor is to provide for those who need it most. On this occasion, five families in need, both physically and spiritually, received bags of food. Beyond the provision of food, we also had the opportunity to pray for them and share with them Jesus' message of hope and love, reminding them that He is always with them.
God has put in my heart a desire to serve Him through children's ministry, using the arts as a way to His glory.
In His faithfulness, He has given me the opportunity to teach pantomime to teenagers and children in the church, and together we have been sharing this gift during the Sunday service for children and adults. Through pantomime, we have shared stories that reflect God's love, and it has been a blessing to see how attentive and receptive the children have been to the message.
We have been praying for the Lord to use me during this time here in Albania, and He has answered our prayers. To Him be all the glory! Alleluia.
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” Psalm 95:6
I feel infinitely grateful to God for giving me the privilege of being part of the team that ministers in the church through worship. It is a great blessing to be able to exalt and serve Him in this way. I deeply enjoy every moment in His presence.
All glory to God.
Evangelistic Activity with Teenagers
On February 12, a special activity was held for teenagers who reside in the area where the church is located. There is a deep desire of the church leaders to share with them the love of God and the transforming message of hope.
Many of these adolescents face significant challenges. On several occasions, some have shown rebellious attitudes and even try to disrupt Sunday services from the outside by shouting or banging on the door.
These attitudes urge us even more to pray for them, trusting that only the love of Christ can transform their hearts.
With that purpose, the youth team of the church worked with dedication and love to organize this activity. They prepared a special decoration, with details alluding to hearts, symbolizing God's love.
During the event, the central message of hope and salvation was shared. While this was going on, I kept a constant spirit of prayer.
A group of brothers from Greece, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo (Balkans) were present at the activity and also joined in intercession, praying that God would touch the lives of each young person present.
We firmly believe that the seed of the Gospel has been sown in your hearts. We now fervently pray that God will allow that seed to fall on good soil, grow and bear abundant fruit for His glory.
We trust that the Lord will continue to work, and we long to see these young people transformed by His love and guided by His purpose.
To God be all the glory.
Prayer Walks
The South Korean missionary and I have started prayer walks in the area, praying to the Lord for His power to be manifested in this community.
We pray according to the Word, as it is written in Luke 4:18
That the good news may be given to the poor; that all who are brokenhearted may be healed, and that there may be freedom for the captives and the oppressed.
How to continue to remember me in prayer?
Earlier this year, you were accompanying me with the following prayer request: 1. For (March - April), I am scheduled to do security training in Great Britain. I ask you to accompany me in prayer that God will take control from now on, especially to obtain visa, and all that is required to be there.
We were praying for this request for God to take control and indeed God did so because among his plans was not to go to UK so the visa was denied. Sometimes it is not easy as humans to assimilate why it was not approved however, after praying and receiving words from many of you especially in Acts: “When they arrived at the border of Mysia, they tried to enter the region of Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not let them. For this reason they passed by Mysia and came to Troas. “Acts 16:7-8 PDT. Just as Paul and his companions were led by the Holy Spirit into new paths, I believe God is leading me into a new opportunity. Therefore, I ask that you pray that, if it is His will, the doors will open for me to attend security training in Armenia April 14-16. Although there are other options, such as Thailand, Armenia is a closer option considering my current location in Europe.
Here is the link to the training for more details:
2. Love our Lord more, with surrender. Love His Word, long for His presence, experience His joy, and be a good steward for His glory.
3. Pray for perseverance, patience, and faith..
4. May the Lord continue to use me in a special way in Albania to be an instrument of encouragement and strength for the brethren in the church, and to inspire those with a call to NK that they may advance with faith and courage in the work of God
5. On March 18 I am leaving Albania for France I ask you to pray that God will keep my departure and entry. May my last two weeks in Albania may I continue to serve and enjoy among the brethren.
