Somewhere Only We Go An Extended Play

Somewhere Only We Go is a musical project consisting of five songs, indicating the continuity of the Roadman and Folks story. This body of work is intended to help articulate feelings of escapism, curate an intimate sense of relative freedom for potential listeners, and encourage cohesiveness among a community of folks with similar or adjacent realities to me. The EP and the video help map out an ever changing destination, ‘somewhere only we go’ to spend time together, to gain clarity, to be vulnerable without distractions and make merry without inhibition. It’s a true testament to community and the abundance that dwells within it. Enjoy this video of folks just being folks, as we journey to this destination.

This is an experiential initiative curated by Familiar Folks to serve as a preservatory community through contemporary performing art and other creative activities. To create alternative mediums of expressing and experiencing art, a show is set up in an off-map location outside the city during which Tommy WÁ and his audience are engaged and able to build seamless bonds, hence a sustainable community is formed.
