Sports Ambassadors have organised the Sponsored Marathon to be held on Thursday 19th June. All pupils have taken home sponsor forms.

Pupils in Collen have made packs of greetings cards using the winning designs from the school Eisteddfod competition. Money raised will be used to buy bird seed to attract more wildlife into St Michael's churchyard as part of their Eco award. Packs of 6 cards cost £2.00. To order packs, please email school and let us know how many you would like.

PE Kits

Please ensure your child has a full PE kit in school every day (shorts, T-shirt, trainers). There will be no set day for PE in each class as we prepare for sports day and other activities. We will take advantage of the fine weather whenever we can.

School Uniform Swap

We have a lot of donated uniform in the school library. Please feel free to come in after school on Wednesdays if you need any items or wish to make any donations of clean, useable uniform. We would also welcome donations of shorts for PE.

When should I keep my child off school? - NHS advice

It can be tricky deciding whether or not to keep your child off school when they're unwell. There are government guidelines for schools and nurseries about health protection and managing specific infectious diseases. These say when children should be kept off school and when they shouldn't.
