Principal Message
Dear St. Paul Families, As we enter the second week of December, our school is filled with the joy and anticipation of the Advent season. This week, we continue our journey of preparation, lighting the second candle on our Advent wreath—a reminder of God’s abiding peace and His invitation for us to slow down, reflect, and make room in our hearts for Christ. We are also well into our 12 Days of Christmas activities, and the excitement around the school has been wonderful to see. These small daily moments of celebration help us build community, spread joy, and remind our students of the hope and light that Christ brings into the world. Thank you to our families for your ongoing support during a very full month. We look forward to continuing this beautiful season together as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus at Christmas. Wishing you a blessed second week of Advent. Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
Week of December 8-12, 2025
Inclement Weather
With winter comes all kinds of weather conditions. A reminder that students will go outside for recess if the temperature (with wind chill) is warmer than -20 degrees, as per ECSD policy. Should the temperature fall to -20 or lower, including wind chill, we will move to indoor recess.

Boxes of Hope
This year's Boxes of Hope are in support of ECSD's Centre for Diverse Learners (CFDL) School. This school houses ECSD's inclusive and Diverse programming. We will be collecting in the main lobby throughout the month of December.
A Cozy St. Paul Christmas
From the November 7, 2025 Principal Memo: With the loss of instructional and preparation time in October, we have decided to adjust the format of our Christmas Concert this year to best support both student learning and our celebration of the Christmas season as a school community.
In lieu of the traditional concert at St. John the Evangelist church on December 10, homeroom classes will instead be sharing a Christmas carol celebration on December 18 at 11:15 AM in the school gym, following our pancake breakfast.
Families and extended families are warmly invited to join us — and even join in! — as students share songs that celebrate the joy and meaning of the season together.
