USM Softball Stadium HUSKy SOFTBALL

Fully renovated in 2017, the Husky Softball Field sits between Hannaford Field and Ed Flaherty Field and is home to the Husky Softball team.

Since the inception of LEC softball in 1998 the Huskies have appeared in the tournament championship six times and won the inaugural LEC championship. The 1998 title earned the team its first of three NCAA Tournament appearances.

The Huskies' softball program produced 47 NFCA All-Region selections, 18 All-NEISCA picks, 9 All-ECAC players and a NFCA All-American (Julie Plant, 1998).

Madi Day and Abby Miner Earned NFCA All-Region Honors in 2024.

In addition to regional success, the Huskies have had over 100 athletes earn All-Conference honors from the LEC plus eight major conference awards and five Coach of the Year designations.

The 2015 and 2021 LEC Coach of the Year, Huskies' Head Coach Sarah Jamo earned her 200th career win with a sweep over Plymouth State on 4/27/2023.

The 2025 season saw four Huskies earn All-LEC honors led by First Team selections Meaghan Dufresne, Kendall Migliorini and Mia Coots. Coot and Gwen Christie were also named to the LEC All-Rookie Team.

The 2017 renovations included state of the art lighting, new dugouts, and a patio area for fans.
