Marketing Projects
Task: Led the brand's TikTok refresh at @pearson_plus, creating engaging content that has significantly impacted our performance. Since managing the account, my content has played a key role in achieving a remarkable 28.53% increase in the average reached audience and a 5.48% increase in average engagement per post from Q3 to Q4 of 2023.
Task: Collaborated with my Co Director of Sales Rep Relations to implement a reward system, enhancing PCA (Pearson Campus Ambassador) engagement with their Sales Reps. The system awarded PCAs multiple points/raffle submissions based on their activities, particularly in sharing Sales rep-related projects. This initiative not only successfully increased engagement with Sales Reps but also fostered improved communication on our work channels, encouraging broader collaboration among PCAs and their Sales Reps.
Task:Teamed up with two fellow interns from my cohort to craft a strategic Instagram Stories Engagement plan for @pearson_plus on IG. The primary goal is to elevate follower engagement and provide value to our consistent story viewers, ultimately driving an increase in follower count. The proposed plan includes engaging content ideas such as Product Features/Spotlight, 'Meet the PCA' (Pearson Campus Ambassador), Education-related trivia, Blog/Vlog Recaps, and more.
Task: Collaborated with two fellow interns in my cohort in order to rebrand the Sales Enablement team at Pearson. The two main objectives were to: (1) To Communicate the mission of the Sales Enablement team and what their role is. (2) To change attitudes towards the Sales Enablement team and the resources they offer. Ideas proposed included Town hall segments, All Rep Office hours, a new logo & tag line, and more.
Task: Outline the framework for several Pearson Campus Ambassadors to host interactive MyLab Math Pop Ups across the country on campus at their respective colleges. The aim of these pop ups was to collect feedback from various students in order to make improvements on future MyLab Math software. These Pop Ups also allowed us to further promote MyLab Math across several college campuses.
Task: Create a visual aid that displays the differences and similarities between Pearson and some of their competitors. Specifically, how these competitors are marketing themselves and what their value props are. This project aided the MyLab Math Marketing director in analyzing industry marketing trends and how Pearson can best respond to them by developing Marketing strategies.
Task: Collaborate with nine other team members in creating a marketing plan for the mock virtual app we developed, named RMATES. RMATES is an app whose aim is to connect college students with each other in order to find a roommate before the school years starts. My role was specifically to analyze our target market and generate strategies on how to reach our audience.
Task: Collaborate with nine team members in creating a brochure that promoted the Fifa 2022 World Cup. The goal of this brochure was to increase ticket sales and the target audience assigned was the world.
Work Experience
Pearson+ Social Media Internship | Pearson
- Manages and runs the @pearson_plus social account on TikTok.
- Creates 2-3 shortform videos on a weekly basis that correlate with current social media trends.
- Spearheaded our brands TikTok refresh, contributing to a 28.53% increase in average reached audience and a 5.48% increase in average engagement per post from Q3 to Q4 of 2023.

Co Director of Sales Rep Relations | Pearson
- Develop Projects to improve relations between 200+ Sales Reps and 140+ Pearson Campus Ambassadors.
- Present campaigns to student managers and 140+ Pearson Campus Ambassadors on a monthly basis.
- Spearheaded the creation of a SharePoint site that includes various on-campus initiatives to increase sales revenue and improve client relations.
- Played a pivotal role in the implementation of a monthly point-based reward lottery system, and contributed to the success of the "Bring your PCA to workday" initiative, effectively boosting engagement between Sales Reps and PCAs.
Sales and Marketing Internship | Pearson
- Worked with 5 other interns to create deliverables for 7 different departments at Pearson.
- Collaborated with the following teams: Sales, Global Employee COMMs, Sales enablement, Student Programs, Pearson+ & B2B/B2C Marketing, and Social Media.
- Developed a proposal for the Sales Enablement team that addressed the main issues of Brand Awareness & Sales Rep Engagement. Ideas proposed included Town hall segments, All Rep Office hours, a new logo & tag line, and more.
- Created several pieces of content for our Pearson+ Socials: Share Your Story Award Contest promotion video, IG Stories Engagement Plan, IG Stories Graphics, “How to” IG Feed Carousel, & “How to” videos.
Sales Internship | Pearson
- Utilize OneCRM software and apply concepts to increase sales.
- Develop sales focused marketing campaigns by collaborating with various marketing teams at Pearson.
- Maintain client relations with current customers and expand business opportunities.
- Create sales pitch ideas and execute them.
Campus Ambassador | Pearson
- Participate in surveys that help millions of teachers and schools better prepare students.
- Work with a virtual team of over a 100 Pearson Campus Brand Ambassadors throughout the country to gather and analyze client data.
- Create social media content for Pearson, such as video tutorials, blog posts, and pictures.
- Attend and give feedback in focus groups to aid leaders in the development and improvement of Pearson software.
MyLab Math Marketing Intern | Pearson
- Develop ideas for on campus pop ups and lead other Pearson Campus Ambassadors in enacting them.
- Schedule focus groups and attend them to gain insight from multiple Pearson Campus Ambassadors on MyLab Math software.
- Send communications for internship related projects to Student Program managers to get data necessary to complete them.
- Aid Math Marketing director in various marketing related projects.
Volunteer Experience
Marketing Coordinator | Entertainment and Tourism Club
- Send email blasts to professors about club events and opportunities for students.
- Create classroom announcements schedule for all club board members so they can promote ETC to their classmates.
- Reach out to campus organizations and send them promotional event flyers.

Pre Production Assistant- PR & Outreach | Associated Students Inc. CSUF
- Assists PR and Outreach lead with preparing for Spring Concert.
- Organizes and plans several Spring Concert pop-up events for students to enjoy.
- Utilizes various virtual platforms to create a timeline of Spring Concert PR events.
About Me
My passion for the marketing industry didn't begin until I completed my first semester at Cal State Fullerton as a transfer student. After taking a couple classes more closely related to my major, I found myself more interested in Marketing. I love how the Marketing industry is always changing and there's always new ways for a brand or even an individual to market themselves! I knew I wanted to be in a field that valued change and innovation. My experience in this industry comes from my sales and marketing internships at Pearson and a strong foundation in my various volunteer roles at Freedomhouse church, where my core values come from: excellence, honor, and commitment.
Aside from my professional life and academic career, I'm super family orientated, as you can see from the picture above, where I went with my family to New York in May 2022. I also love to hangout with friends, lift weights, run, and eat a good hamburger every now and then.
