The pre-Christmas fun starts in November and the Christmas market opens the second week of December. Here guests can discover the artistry of Lofoten by visiting stalls featuring intricate crafts, festive decorations, artisanal treatstreats, and souvenirs. Additionally, Landhandel, the general store and cafe has a selection goods to browse for potential gifts - from warm baby booties, specialty yarns for knitting, and a selection of the warmest sweaters.
Christmas Tree Hunt
Bundle up as you embark into the forest to find your perfect Christmas tree. As a guest you can choose your own tree to have in your cabin during your stay and you will be provided with a selection of ornaments to make your accommodation feel festive and cozy . If you’re a local you can also choose a tree to take home.

As you shop and explore the market, warm up with a hot cup of hot rich cocoa or Norwegian glogg, a warm spiced wine, perfect for sipping as you wander through the market.
