WILL MORRIS

BASEBALL & SOFTBALL OPPERATIONS

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Coach Will Morris brings a lifetime of baseball experience and passion to the field. His journey began on the travel ball circuit, competing at a high level from a young age—much like the players he mentors today.

A standout talent, Will earned a spot on his high school varsity team as a sophomore, excelling as a pitcher, outfielder, and corner infielder. His impressive performance led him to the College of Southern Nevada, where he played on a full-ride scholarship. While with the Coyotes, the team climbed as high as #2 in the national Division I junior college rankings. During his sophomore season, Will posted a 7-2 record with a 2.62 ERA and 59 strikeouts across 75.2 innings.

In 2013, Will’s talent was recognized at the professional level when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 24th round (721st overall). He went on to pitch four seasons in the Phillies’ minor league system, compiling an 18-10 record with a 3.04 ERA over 272 innings, alongside 179 strikeouts. His career also included appearances in Major League Spring Training in 2017.

Today, Coach Morris is a devoted husband and proud father of three. He is committed to giving back to the game by helping young athletes develop their skills, understand the game, and pursue their own baseball dreams—just as he once did.

LAURYN MORRIS

Lauryn Morris (Chase) brings years of high-level playing and coaching experience to every lesson, helping athletes grow into confident, efficient, and fundamentally sound players. A standout high school pitcher with a 1.70 ERA, Lauryn went on to play for the nationally competitive Colorado Stars 18U Gold team during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. She later continued her career as a utility player at Fort Hays State University and the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Following her collegiate career, Lauryn began coaching elite youth programs, serving as the pitching and outfield coach for the AZ Firecrackers – Holland/Rivera and the Oro Valley Suncats – Rivera/Judge teams. Her coaching philosophy centers around breaking down the basics to create efficient, adaptable players who understand the game both mentally and physically.

Beyond the field, Lauryn is passionate about using softball as a vehicle to build strong, resilient young women. Her mission is to guide athletes not just in performance, but in personal growth - developing discipline, confidence, and grit that carries into every area of life.
