Croeso i PTA Ysgol Sychdyn!
Welcome to our PTA page at Ysgol Sychdyn. Our job is to organise exciting events to raise funds that will then have a direct impact on YOUR CHILDREN!
We are proud to have been able to contribute to the cost of Year 6 leavers hoodies each year; we have paid for the TT Rockstars and Numbots subscription this year (2025-26) for all children across the school; we contribute to the cost of transport for certain trips; we provide prizes for competitions; and most importantly, we have a positive impact on the children at our lovely school.
We are currently looking to expand our PTA! We would love to welcome some more brilliant parents and staff to our group, so that we can do even more!
Have a look at some of the events we have organised:
We planned a Storytime with Santa workshop for all children last Christmas...
We held a Christmas movie night...
We hosted a spooky movie night...
We organise a Christmas Fair each year...
We hold a St Dwynwen's disco in January (our Welsh 'Valentine's Day'...
... and lots of other discos and parties throughout the year...
... Even our annual Summer Fayre is a PTA event
All of these events and more contribute to the funds we use to pay for resources that add to your child's school experience.
We would love to do even more, but we need your help!
