Skill Centre
U8-U11
(2017-2014)
The Skill Centre (U8-U11) program is geared towards players who are committed to soccer. Players will generally receive a minimum of two practices, plus a series of games every other weekend. Players can expect to have 2-3 contacts per week on average over the season.
Our program will be aligned to Canada Soccer & Soccer Nova Scotia’s Skill Centre principles. For more information click here.
Price
- U8/U9 - $550.00 for 2 Sessions/week & Weekend Festivals
- U10-U11 - $550.00 for 2 Sessions/week & Festivals
- Limited space - 1 Session/Week - $375.00

Fee does not include:
- Additional tournaments/events entered by the individual teams
Parents to Provide
Contributions to individual team budget for extra tournaments/festivals and team socials.
Coaching Qualifications
All HCSC coaches are mandated to complete all requirements by our governing bodies (Soccer Nova Scotia and Canadian Soccer Association) including their soccer-specific training, making ethical decisions, respect in soccer and a valid police check.

April 1st, 2024 - August 31st, 2025
- U8-U11 Girls - Tuesdays and Thursdays 5pm @ Saint Mary's University
- U8/U9 Boys - Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm @ Saint Mary's University
- U10/U11 Boys - Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm @ Saint Mary's University
Festival Information
U8/U9 Festivals - Saturday @ Stanley Park
U10/U11 Festivals - Sundays @ BMO Soccer Centre
* No Festivals during long weekends
Additional Technical Training
Fridays @ Dalhousie University starting in June - $150 for 10 Sessions
Program & Communication Management Software for smooth communication between team leaders, coaches, members and guardians on one platform.
All Halifax City families will be required to use Spond to access their schedule and receive the latest information for everything related to the club.
We will send a unique link for each program prior to the start of the first training session.
