WE ARE EXCITED TO SUPPORT THE CLASS OF 2026 THIS SUMMER WITH THE COLLEGE PROCESS & APPLICATIONS. FUNDED BY THE MVLA FOUNDATION.

There will be new counselor assignments this fall, but the new system has not been determined. Students, don't assume prior knowledge when completing the Counselor Letter of Recommendation form.

Early Summer College Application Kick-Off

In the CCC on Thursday, June 12, from 9:30 AM-1:30 PM

• Common Application Writing from start to finish- get help with brainstorming, drafting, and revising your personal statement.
• University of California Personal Insight Questions from start to finish- get help with brainstorming, drafting, and revising your 4 PIQs.
• Activities List or Resume from start to finish- get started, revise, uplevel, edit. We will cover how to format these lists for the Common App and the UC application.
• EOP & Financial Aid- Overview of EOP & the essay questions. Help with starting, revising, and editing responses. Create a FAFSA ID, learn about the financial aid process, and scholarships.
• Counselor Letter of Recommendation Questions- work on written responses required for your counselor to write the best recommendation possible for you in the fall.

• FAFSA --> FSA ID- know your SSN- Create FSA ID
