Willow Scribble “Respect all the reasonable forms of activity in which the child engages and try to understand them.” Maria Montessori

Hello Willow families and Welcome back to the first scribble of 2026. We are happy to see smiling faces back at school. Let's have a look about what we are learning!

Practical Life Area

In practical life area children are learning activities like water transfer, Lacing, Buckling and shoveling snow. These activities help them to build fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination and cognitive abilities through real-life experiences.

Sensorial Area

In sensorial area children are learning about Knobless cylinders, bottles and caps and lock and key. Knobless cylinders helps to develop child's visual discrimination of dimension (height, diameter). While lock and key   helps them in strengthening hand muscles and teaches patience and accuracy.

Math Area

In Math area children are learning about Numbers 1-10 and Rote counting, Magnet counter. Rote counting is to recite numbers in the correct sequence.

Language Area

In Sensorial Area children are learning about Alphabets and enjoying sound basket -letters starting with same sound.

Art Area
