I created a realistic apple drawing. I learned how to use the Corel Painter App, how to layer my painting, add shadows, and blend. My end goal was to have drawn an apple that looks similar to a real life apple. I felt good about my apple considering it was my first time drawing on a computer and using Corel Painter. I hope the audience sees my apple and is impressed with how real life it looks and the little details I added.
I created a creative apple drawing. I learned how to insert my real life drawing into the background of another painting of mine and combine them together. My goal was to create something to do with worms because sometimes you'll find worms in your apples so I figured why not a worm apple house. I didn't feel amazing about this one because only my apple looked realistic. I hope my audience just has a fun and playful imagination when looking at it.
I created a painting that had to do with culture patterns. I learned how to make patterns with certain cultures pattern designs and how to use the pattern pen. My goal was to make it as colorful as possible with it still looking like african culture patterns. I felt pretty good about this one, the face was a struggle for me but other than that I like how it came out. I hope my audience recognizes my patterns and the culture I chose from.
I created a symmetrical painting from the work of Andreas Preis. I learned how to use the symmetrical feature and draw with value. My goal was to draw a moose and use Andreas Preis style with my painting. I felt pretty awesome about this one with how my moose came out and how my values looked. I hope my audience sees how good my moose is and then looks at the values and how I used it to make the light and dark areas.
I created a painting using only watercolors. I learned all the different kinds of watercolors and how to use them to my advantage. My goal was to make an underwater scenery with fans, spirals, stars, and branch shapes. I felt like this was my best one and it all came together great. I hope my audience just likes looking at my painting and all the little details I added to it.
