Washington Monthly Ranks TAMIU 5th Nationally for ‘Best Bang for the Buck’ Among Southern Colleges

TAMIU has once again been recognized as one of the nation's Top Ten-ranked Southern Colleges in Washington Monthly Magazine's 2024 College Guide "Best Bang for the Buck," ranking #5. TAMIU also earned a #2 ranking for low net price. TAMIU was the highest-ranked regional campus of The Texas A&M University System.

I am truly pleased with these rankings as they affirm our core promise to be Accessible, Affordable, and Exceptional. I think Washington Monthly’s rankings also underscore elements of the TAMIU experience that distinguish it: our faculty, and how they empower our students. I also appreciate how the College Guide values experiences like public service and research, which we are strongly committed to.”

  • Email notifications will be sent to official TAMIU email addresses from safezone@tamiu.edu
  • Text notifications will only be sent to those providing a cell phone number on the App, and who have not opted out of SMS.
